BCC president quoted in USACE manual.
It has come to our attention that Bill Butt, president of Butt Construction Company, has been quoted in
the official U.S. Army Corps of Engineers alternative dispute resolution manual titled "Partnering!" In
the government guidelines Butt said, "True partners accept that the success or failure in completing
a project safely, on time, and with high quality is a reflection of the efforts of all stakeholders.”

Feb. 2013:
BCC joint venture to handle $9.7M Wright-Patt renovation.
Butt Construction Co. teamed up with Lewaro
Construction Inc. to win an 18 month contract to renovate a
17,000-square-foot research facility at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The project includes interior
demolition; replacement of the electrical systems, plumbing systems, mechanical systems; reconfiguration
of the space for new laboratories; and construction of a new mezzanine.

Oct 2012:
Joint venture nabs base deal.
A local joint venture between Butt Construction Co. and Lewaro Construction Inc. has landed a $4.4 million construction
deal at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, its third significant job at the base this year. The contract is for the
renovation of 15,000 square feet in an old hangar for the Air Force Electronic Weapon Simulator laboratory. The work
includes selective demolition and installation of new HVAC, electrical, architectural, communications and security systems
to create a secure workspace for the lab.

Companies partner on $6.4M base construction contract.
A joint-venture between Butt Construction Co. and Lewaro Construction Inc. was awarded the
contract to replace three air handling units and renovate 80,000 square feet of a secure building
at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The project is being managed by the Louisville district
office of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

April 2012:
Construction boom helps WPAFB Medical Center renovation.
A $90 million renovation of Wright-Patterson Medical Center will cost the government $25 million
less than the Air Force budgeted for the project in stimulus dollars, officials said. A highly
competitive construction market has led to intense competition for work, said William T. Butt Jr.,
president of Butt Construction Co. in Dayton, a chief contractor on the project with Chicago-based
Walsh Group.
